The new SSK041J1 is one of a new trio of Seiko watches which are Presage’s first Cocktail Time pieces with GMT functionality.

Seiko Presage Cocktail Time watches are inspired by Japanese cocktail culture and specific drinks from the Star Bar in Tokyo’s sophisticated Ginza area. The ‘Acacia’ cocktail has a sweet and refreshing taste mixed with gin, Benedictine and a dash of Kirsch, finished with a garnish of lemon, giving it a graduated silvery-yellow hue that matches the dial of the SSK041J.

The dial of the multi graduated colour ‘Acacia’ SSK041 dress watch with its sunray reflections is designed to resemble the view through a cocktail glass. The GMT hand is inspired by the stem of a cocktail glass, whilst the second hand signifies a cocktail stirrer with its elegant handle. In tandem with the Arabic numerals at each index, this timepiece tracks two timezones simultaneously. With razor sharp markers, and Dauphine-style hands, this piece has a date feature at 3 o’clock, for added practicality. It is accompanied by a brown leather strap.

The Seiko SSK041J Acacia model features a case size of 40.5mm, case thickness of 12.8mm, lug-to-lug size of 47.5mm and a lug width of 20mm and has an approximate weight of 70gm.

The SSK041J features the Seiko hacking calibre 4R34 that is both manual as well as a self winding automatic movement with a normal operating accuracy tolerance of +45 / -35 seconds per day and a power reserve of 41 hours. The watch features a box-shaped Hardlex glass. Water resistance rating is 50m and additional features include an exhibition case back and a date display and GMT functionality for keeping time in 2 different time zones.
