What is the difference between a court, flat and half-round wedding band? +

These describe the shape, or profile, of the band. A court band is rounded on both the inside and outside for a comfortable, classic fit; a flat band has flat outer edges for a more contemporary look; and a half-round band is flat on the inside and curved on the outside. Our men’s wedding rings are available in all of these profiles, along with low dome and flat-stepped designs.
What do the koru and kowhaiwhai patterns represent? +

Both are traditional New Zealand Māori designs. The koru is based on the unfurling frond of the silver fern and is associated with new life, growth and new beginnings, while kowhaiwhai are flowing painted scroll patterns traditionally seen on meeting houses. We offer 8mm wide koru and kowhaiwhai patterned wedding bands that carry these designs.
Can a men's wedding band have diamonds? +

Yes. While many men prefer a plain band, our range includes stone-set options such as a diamond-set chevron band, a dome-look ring with a line of diamonds and a wedding/dress diamond-set ring, as well as bands set with round-cut cubic zirconia for a similar look at a more accessible price.
What is a two-tone wedding band? +

A two-tone band combines two colours of gold in one ring. Our two-tone design pairs 9ct yellow and white gold for a subtle contrast, giving a distinctive look that still coordinates easily with other jewellery.
What does a “diamond cut” or “faceted” finish mean? +

A diamond-cut or faceted finish is created by cutting small angled facets into the surface of the gold, which catch the light and add sparkle without using any gemstones. In our range this includes diamond-cut edge bands, a diamond-cut bark cross finish and faceted patterned bands.
How do I find my ring size for a wedding band? +

Ring sizes are shown as letters (such as P, R, X, Y and Z in our range). The most reliable way to find your size is to have your finger measured, or to measure a ring you already wear comfortably on the correct finger. If you’re between sizes, it’s usually best to size up slightly, and bear in mind that wider bands can feel a little more snug.
