This Maori?Friendship or Love Trophy is a beautiful piece of New Zealand made art.
The trophy is shaped in a Pikorua (double twist) design, with heaps of minute detailing, and beautiful contrasting New Zealand Paua shell. The back is plain wood.
The pikorua carries a spiritual meaning, one of undying love or friendship between two people or families or groups.??Give it as a trophy or a birthday gift, or as a fine example of New Zealand art.
The large standing twist artwork (300mm high) is a contemporary representation of?the Pikorua (Twist).?This single-sided piece of art boasts super fine detail, paua inlay and comes complete with stylish black base, related story and protective box.
This artwork with its intricate design and super fine detail is crafted from Gaboon veneer plywood, medium density fibreboard (mdf) and embellished with NZ Paua laminate.
Proudly made in New Zealand . There are always very slight differences in colours and carvings of carved products.
Engraving on the front of the base stand can be done with a Golden Plaque.
