Care

Sterling silver naturally darkens (tarnishes) over time. A silver polishing cloth brings back the shine.
Wearing it often helps; storing it in a sealed bag or box away from air and moisture slows tarnish.
Take it off for swimming, showering, the gym and household cleaning.
Put perfume, hairspray and lotion on first, and your jewellery on last.
Stones collect dust and lotion behind them: a soft brush with warm soapy water restores their sparkle. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners unless a jeweller has confirmed they are safe for your stones (many gems, and treated stones, can be damaged). Check that the stones and claws are secure from time to time.
