The QXH076-B offers a choice of two traditional chime melodies – Westminster or Whittington. The clock chimes at the hour and quarter hour, with hourly strikes following the hour chime.

For added convenience, an automatic chime silencer operates between 11:00pm and 5:45am, allowing the clock to remain quiet overnight. An adjustable volume control also lets you set the chime level to suit your surroundings.
