Hei Tiki

According to legend, Tiki was the first man on Earth, originating from the stars and creating the first woman in his image. While the exact meaning of the Tiki remains debated, it is widely regarded as a symbol of fertility and is traditionally believed to bring good luck and ward off evil spirits.

Kawakawa Pounamu

Kawakawa is the most common variety of pounamu, celebrated for its range of shades, from vibrant green to deep, dark green, often featuring distinctive dark flecks that enhance its character. Named after the Kawakawa leaf, it is highly valued for jewellery and carvings.

  • Wipe your greenstone with a soft cloth. If it needs more, use a little warm water with mild soap and a soft cloth, then dry it; never use brushes, scourers or abrasive cleaners.
