Greenstone Bounded Toki

Genuine New Zealand Pounamu (Greenstone), sourced and hand carved in Aotearoa (New Zealand). Pounamu is of great cultural significance for M?ori and is believed to enhance mana (prestige) of its possessor. The toki comes with traditional binding and adjustable cord.

Toki are now worn around the neck as a symbol of strength, courage and determination. The shape represents a tool often used by Maori for carving, shaping, and weaponry and was originally used for practical purposes.
