Resin is the plastic band material Casio uses on many G-Shock and Baby-G models. It is not the same material as rubber or silicone; the band material is named on each listing.

As a guide, "water resistant" with no depth and 30 m cover rain and splashes, 100 m suits swimming and snorkelling, and 200 m suits skin diving.
