Pendant, chain or set

This page mixes three kinds of necklace. Some are chains worn on their own, such as fine hayseed and six-sided open curb chains in 9ct gold. Others are pendants, including greenstone (pounamu) pendants and Tongan and Samoan sila pendants with engraved black enamel. A third group has stones built into the chain, like paperclip links set with cubic zirconia.

When you choose a pendant, check the listing to see whether a chain is included. If not, match the chain to the pendant: a fine chain suits a small pendant, and a heavier link suits a large one.

The metal is mostly 9ct yellow gold or sterling silver, with a few stainless steel pieces. Many styles suit men, women and children.

What chain length should I choose?

As a guide, about 40–45 cm sits at the collarbone, 50–55 cm falls just below it, and 60 cm or longer sits lower on the chest. Chains that come in lengths have a Length Guide on the product page, with centimetres and inches.

How quickly will my order arrive?

In-stock pieces are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days, and delivery times vary with location. Personalised and engraved pieces take longer to prepare; ask us for the timing of a specific piece. Standard shipping is free on NZ orders over $100. In-stock pieces can usually be collected from our Ōtāhuhu showroom within 24 hours — choose Click & Collect at checkout.

Can I return an item?

Yes, within 7 days of receiving it, if it is unworn or unused and in its original packaging with tags. Sale items and gift cards can't be returned. The full steps are on our returns page.
