A halo engagement ring frames its centre with a ring of smaller stones. Here you will find diamond halos, natural or lab-grown where the listing says which, and coloured gemstone centres framed by diamonds. Each product page names its stones.
A halo surrounds the centre of the ring with smaller stones. Some rings have a single halo and some a double halo, with two rows. Centre shapes include round, oval, pear, cushion, princess and emerald cut, and some designs use a cluster of small diamonds in place of one centre stone. Each product page describes its own setting.
These rings are not all the same: some are set with natural diamonds, some with lab-grown diamonds, and some have a coloured gemstone centre, such as ruby, emerald, amethyst or peridot, framed by diamonds. Each listing states what it is set with, including when a gemstone is lab-grown. Where a listing does not say whether a diamond is natural or lab-grown, we describe it simply as a diamond, so please ask us before you buy. Our guide explains lab-grown vs natural diamonds.
A few designs come as a two-piece bridal set, a halo engagement ring with a matching wedding band; “Bridal Set” is in the product name. More sets are in bridal ring sets.
Halo designs set with cubic zirconia (CZ) are in our cubic zirconia engagement rings collection. CZ is a lab-made simulant rather than a diamond, and those listings say CZ.
Also browse oval engagement rings, three-stone engagement rings, lab-grown engagement rings and diamond engagement rings.
A ring whose centre stone, or centre cluster, is surrounded by a frame of smaller stones. The frame makes the centre look larger and adds sparkle.
A single halo is one row of small stones around the centre; a double halo has two rows. Each product page says which design it is.
It depends on the ring, and each product page says which where its listing states it. Where a listing does not say, we describe the stones simply as diamonds, so please ask us before you buy.
Yes. Our CZ halo designs are in the cubic zirconia engagement rings collection. Cubic zirconia is a lab-made simulant rather than a diamond, and each of those listings says CZ.
Some halo rings here come as two-piece bridal sets with a matching band, with "Bridal Set" in the product name. You can also browse bridal ring sets.
Rings that come in sizes have a Ring Size Guide beside the size selector on the product page, with NZ/AU letter sizes, the matching US sizes and the inside measurement. If you're unsure, visit our Ōtāhuhu showroom to be sized.

This chart helps estimate fit. US sizes are the closest equivalent, and sizing can vary slightly with a ring’s width and design.
Band width: Wider bands can feel tighter than fine bands. If you are between sizes, you may need the next available size.
