Choosing an amethyst piece

Most pieces here are set in 9ct gold, mainly yellow gold, and most pieces are rings. The amethyst is cut in many shapes: oval, cushion, octagon, emerald cut and heart. Stone sizes such as 6mm x 8mm appear in the listing, along with the diamond weight where diamonds are added.

Halo designs frame the amethyst with small diamonds. A five-stone band and a twist band with cubic zirconia give a lower profile for daily wear. There is also a heart signet, and a multi-gemstone ring that pairs amethyst with garnet, citrine, blue topaz and peridot.

For a matching gift, look for the set that pairs an amethyst pendant with a ring. For rings, check your size before you order. For another coloured stone, see blue topaz jewellery or ruby jewellery.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the gemstone natural?

Each listing describes the stone. Where a stone is lab-created or a simulant, the listing should say so — if it isn't clear, ask us before you buy.

How quickly will my order arrive?

In-stock pieces are usually dispatched within 1–2 business days, and delivery times vary with location. Personalised and engraved pieces take longer to prepare; ask us for the timing of a specific piece. Standard shipping is free on NZ orders over $100. In-stock pieces can usually be collected from our Ōtāhuhu showroom within 24 hours — choose Click & Collect at checkout.

Can I return an item?

Yes, within 7 days of receiving it, if it is unworn or unused and in its original packaging with tags. Sale items and gift cards can't be returned. The full steps are on our returns page.

Can I pay with Afterpay?

Yes. Afterpay lets you pay in four interest-free instalments on eligible orders, and you can also pay by bank transfer or when you collect in store. See payment options.
